How does IPL red vein removal Treatment work?
The IPL device is a ‘flashlamp’ that generates very short, intense pulses of light. These pulses are filtered to release only specific wavelengths designed to be absorbed by the red blood cells (heamagloblin). The strength and duration of the pulse is precisely controlled to ensure the target area is selectively heated, whilst leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed. This results in coagulation of the vessels reducing the redness in the skin.
