Founded in 2008 by Nurse Julie Goldsmith, DermaGlo Skin Clinic has grown into one of the most respected medical aesthetics clinics in the Dublin region. Julie began her nursing career in the UK, qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1994. She gained extensive experience as a theatre nurse in Trauma Orthopaedics before moving to London to work in Angiography Labs and Day Case Surgery. It was during this time that Julie developed a passion for medical aesthetics, completing her training with Qmed—now known as Galderma—in Restylane dermal fillers.
After relocating to Ireland in 2006, Julie expanded her expertise by working with Medical Grade Lasers and completing advanced laser safety training. She went on to earn a BTEC Level 4 qualification in Lasers, Light, and Associated Therapies for Nurses and Doctors. Julie has now been practising Medical Grade Laser Treatments for more than seven years, offering clients exceptional care and expert results.
Since establishing DermaGlo, Julie has consistently pursued further education within medical aesthetics to bring the most innovative treatments to her clients. One of the most transformative additions to the clinic has been Obagi Medical Skin Care, which has delivered outstanding results for concerns such as acne, pigmentation, and sun damage. With over four years of specialised Obagi training, Julie is recognised as an Obagi Ambassador for her professional expertise, client support, and dedication to improving skin health for both men and women.
Julie is additionally trained in Chemical Peels, Dermarolling, Automated Needling (Dermapen), and Dermal Fillers, including lip augmentation.
